Sounds decent… Then add fresh brewed coffee to the equation and it gets even better. As the smell of crafted coffees fills the air and wood furniture warms the space, a local Fargo artist has filled the walls with colorful local art. Sensory overload. I agree… it sounds a bit like a utopia.
We’ve teamed up with Abovo Events to bring Grain Designs downtown for the holiday season! There is a rock solid group joining us including Thunder Coffee and local artist Steve Knutson with occasional events featuring Milk Made. This conglomerate is officially called THE POP-UP SHOP and it launches today! Here’s what else you need to know about THE POP-UP SHOP.
Local Artist Steve Knutson – Featured among Grain Designs furniture and wall decor is Steve’s incredible local art. Steve’s work is Fargo, his work is North Dakota, his work is Midwest. His work is all over Fargo and it is awesome. I’m not going to spoil any more. You need to come and check it out.
Thunder Coffee is a four month young start up and their coffee is worth writing (or texting) home about. I’ve heard mentions of their cold brew and Pumpkin Spice specialties. I can attest to the cold brew, I find myself typing with laser focus. The customers walking around with a pumpkin spice smile on their face are an undeniable stamp of approval.

Thursday-Saturday: 7am-6pm
Sunday: 12pm-6pm
The door is open and coffee is brewing. Thunder Coffee has extended hours to serve you the early morning pick-me-up all through the day until you need your second wind for the evening. However, the Grain Designs team will only be in Thursday-Saturday 10am-6pm. If we’re not around feel free to ask the friendly Thunder Coffee staff for assistance with our products.

Featuring rustic wood farmhouse tables, custom sliding barn doors, a handcrafted bar, and outdoor ceremony furnishings, the venue blends agricultural heritage with modern elegance to create a timeless space for weddings and events.
