While pretty much every aspect of a wedding is optional, from wearing a suit instead of a dress to ditching the flowers to forgoing the wedding cake, there’s one thing you can’t skip: a venue! After all, you’ve got to have somewhere for your friends and family to gather and celebrate! Your wedding venue will naturally be the setting for your wedding entertainment and food – both crucial parts of organizing the wedding. Grain Designs very own, The Pines Wedding Venue, is officially in business! We celebrated our first wedding just over a month ago and it was nothing short of a magical day.
If you haven’t been following the progress on our social media pages, hammers have been swinging at The Pines for months now. Our team has been putting in the hours to craft new signage, 40 farmhouse tables, a ceremony pergola, and two sliding barn doors suspended between the grain bins to make this wedding a beautiful success!
To celebrate the venue’s opening, our very own Pat Bresnahan and his wife Nicolette, tied the knot. There are several ceremony locations on the 17-acre property, and this couple chose the field just beyond the grain bins. This spot made for a perfect photo backdrop featuring a Grain Designs pergola.
Following the ceremony, guests were invited inside for a buffet-style meal prepared by Chef’s Table catering in the reception space. The Pines venue can accommodate up to 400 guests seated at Grain Designs farmhouse tables. For this wedding, Pat & Nicolette went with a farmhouse chic design incorporating flowers, candles, and hand-picked Russian Olive Branches. The Pines provides a beautiful base canvas to create the ultimate background to fulfill your ultimate wedding vision. With a rustic white interior, there are many ways a bride could theme the space.
This exciting celebration is just the beginning for The Pines. We are looking forward to many more celebrations hosted here! Opened in 2022, Pines Black is the second barn-like wedding venue at The Pines Weddings & Events near Fargo, ND. Grain Designs contributed custom furniture and architectural details throughout, including 45 solid wood folding event tables, 16 modern sliding barn doors, and extensive ash wood finishes for walls, countertops, and bars.
