The robust table base features steel cross bar connections that when joined together can support the table tops and help build connections. The Dakota Medical Foundation peaks and valleys icon is engraved into the tables with “key inlays” as a literal point of connection explained in more detail below. Connections flourish here.

The tables and space were designed for mobility and flexibility to serve groups of 5-35. When all three tables are properly aligned and then connected together they act as one unit, supporting the ideology that when individuals work together they can have a much greater impact. From our initial design meeting with Dakota Medical Foundation, it was clear we aligned on our organizational values. We invested greater energy into the design and development phase of this project to source wood from local Fargo Parks trees, highlight their brand, and tell the story of DMF’s mission through our wood craft.
