Featuring rustic wood farmhouse tables, custom sliding barn doors, a handcrafted bar, and outdoor ceremony furnishings, the venue blends agricultural heritage with modern elegance to create a timeless space for weddings and events.
Opened in 2022, Pines Black is the second barn-like wedding venue at The Pines Weddings & Events near Fargo, ND. Grain Designs contributed custom furniture and architectural details throughout, including 45 solid wood folding event tables, 16 modern sliding barn doors, and extensive ash wood finishes for walls, countertops, and bars. Kava Construction partnered with Grain Designs in Fargo, ND to transform their office with reclaimed wood feature walls and custom office furniture. We designed a statement industrial conference table inspired by towering grain elevators, a bold reception desk, and an angled executive desk with a live edge top. Each piece combines solid hardwood, hot rolled steel, and brand-driven details to create a modern industrial office that reflects Kava’s identity in the agriculture construction industry.
Grain Designs partnered with Dakota Medical Foundation to craft custom conference tables for their large boardroom. The boardroom tables embody the organization’s values of foundation, connection, and collaboration. Built with robust steel bases and locally sourced wood, these tables symbolize strength, community, and impact—transforming the boardroom into a space where relationships and ideas flourish.
When Myles, the You Betcha Guy was building their first Fargo headquarters, he came to us in search of office desks, meeting tables, work tables, and a container bar to turn their new YB! workspace into something more. Myles’ creativity isn’t limited to creative scripts and video, he helped design a one-of-a-kind office desk fit for a mob boss. In fact, many of the custom office furniture pieces were designed in collaboration with Myles himself. We outfitted his dark reclaimed wood office desk with a glass block Peeky Blinders -esque leg feature, a fridge drawer, a whiskey cabinet and an integrated phone charger.
Enclave’s second Fargo, ND office, a historic renovation and preservation of downtown’s Case Plaza. This timber frame building was once a manufacturing facility for Case tractors! We built custom reclaimed wood office desks and live edge meeting tables from reclaimed douglas fir to match.
Since 2013, Grain Designs has partnered with Enclave Companies to bring innovative design solutions to their spaces. For their 86,000 sq. ft. West Fargo office, we created custom multi-functional tables that combine form and function. Highlights include dark hardwood tables that anchor bright open rooms and a one-of-a-kind adjustable height table with a built-in ice trough—perfect for both collaborative meetings and social gatherings.
Starting with client-provided inspiration photos, the Grain Designs team collaborrated with interior design firm Trever Hill Design to create distinguished and distinct display areas custom-built to showcase Aspire Optical’s products.
